WE HAVE A WINNER....

Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet Secretary Len Peters announced the winner of the state wide Capture the Earth photo competition at the 43rd Earth Day celebration in Frankfort Kentucky yesterday.  CCMS paid special attention to this announcement as there were several entries from CCMS.  We were excited to find out that our very own Ande F. was the state wide champion with her image that has been titled "Snail on Leaf".   Kentucky's First Lady, Mrs. Jane Beshear presented Ande with her award.  Congratulations Ande, we are very proud of you!!!!

Fun and Games

The 3rd 9 weeks awards ceremony proved to be fun for the student body as well as the audience.  Students participated in several CCMS original games such as towel relay, and the crowd favorite, sock wars.  But, the crowning of the  ultimate champion came down to a simple game of arm wrestling.  Levi pulled an upset and defeated Peyton, the defending sock wars champion.   The 3rd 9 weeks awards was a huge hit and fun was had by everyone that attended.
