CCMS Shines At The 6th Grade Showcase

The 6th grade Academic team represented CCMS well at the district 6th grade academic team competition.  Overall the team placed 3rd in district competition. Several CCMS placed in individual competitions as well.

Morgan placed 1st in Language Arts and 2nd in Written Composition.

Nick placed 6th in Math



J.P. placed 6th in Science




Cameron placed 5th in Social Studies



Kassidy placed 2nd in Language Arts and 3rd in Arts and Humanities



Charlsey 5th in Math

The 6th CCMS Academic Team took 3rd overall.

Kentucky Mobile Science Lab Visits CCMS

The science classes at CCMS enjoyed a treat Friday.  The Kentucky Mobile Science lab visited CCMS and all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students got to complete several science experiments while visiting the mobile lab.

 

 

THE GIVING TREE

The December service project at CCMS is "The Giving Tree".  Students are encouraged to decorate the tree with donations of hats, gloves, or scarves, that will be given to needy students and families.  If you would like to participation drop by CCMS to make your donation

 

Ms. Beth's Students Perform Mock Trial

Students in Mrs. Beth's Language Arts class performed a mock trial, to better understand how to compose an argumentative piece of writing.  Students took on the roles of defense attorney, prosecuting attorney, plaintiffs, and defendants to better understand what it means to be argumentative.

BETA COLLECTS FOOD FOR THANKSGIVING and CHRISTMAS SEASON

The CCMS Beta club held a can food drive to help people in our community during the Thanksgiving and Christmas Seasons.

 

 

Panther Basketball 8th Grade Night

The 8th grade boys basketball players and cheerleaders were recognized at the final home game of the season Monday night.  Congratulations panthers and panther cheerleaders on all of your hard work this season!
