The 6th grade Arts and Humanities class has completed a unit of study that emphasized music. The class performed before an audience of their peers on Thursday and did a fabulous job. What made this performance so impressive was that many of these students had no prior experience with playing a musical instrument, and in just 12 weeks Mr. Fillingham had transformed this group into a well oiled band.
These students learned, perfected, and performed songs such as, Another One Bites the Dust, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Hot Cross Buns, Jingle Bells, and many more well known songs. Several of the students even performed solos or duets.
