6TH GRADERS LEARN ABOUT ADAPTATIONS

This may just look like a mess of macaroni, rubber bands and paperclips in the floor, but there was a purpose behind this madness.

The students in Ms. Dishman's 6th grade science class were given objects such as straws, and clothes-pins and required to pick up as many objects from this "mess" as possible.  Students found that this was not an easy task, and quickly figured out that adaptations are necessary for survival in the Animal world.
