EXOTIC ANIMALS VISIT CCMS

 
Arizona brought her exotic, hedgehog, Baxter to share with her 8th grade science class who is studying animal classifications. Baxter was a big hit with all the students CCMS.
 




 

JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT

6th graders participate in their final Junior Achievement lesson and receive their certificates for completing this consumer awareness program.
 

Lydia and her classmates learn about currency, and how to convert from one form of currency to the currency of another nation.




 

CCMS DONATES TO THE LOCAL FOOD PANTRY

CCMS had a November food drive.  Students donated canned goods, which were donated to the local food pantry.  Each student that donated was entered into a drawing for a gift card to Subway.  Way to go CCMS for donating to your community. 


Emilia was one of the 3 winners of the CCMS Food Donation Competition.
 

Dustin Elmore, was one of the 3 student winners of the CCMS Food Donation competition.



Christian Cooksey, was one of the 3 winners selected from the Food Drive Competition.

Ms. Cooksey's 8th grade Science class participated in an interactive online lesson, to determine if bacteria is a friend or a foe.

CCMS PANTHERS 8th GRADE NIGHT

The CCMS basketball season came to a close last night with the final game of the season against Glasgow.  All of the 8th grade Panther team members were recognized for their hard work, and dedication to an outstanding season.

OCTOBER SUPERSTARS


The CCMS October Superstars are 6th grader Curtis Atchley, 7th grader Hannah Ballard, and 8th Cody Grider. These students exhibited outstanding academics, behavior, participation, and citizenship. Way to go students, keep up the good work!

CCMS PARTICIPATES IN LIVE WEBINAR WITH LOIS LOWERY

Some students from CCMS participated in a live webinar with Newberry Award Winning Author Lois Lowery.  Ms. Lowery spoke live from Roxbury Massachusetts, with students across the nation about her new book Son as well as her writing style, process, and her experiences as an author.

LADY PANTHER 8th GRADE NIGHT

CCMS recognized the 8th grade Lady Panthers and CCCMS cheerleaders at the final home game of the season, Monday night. Congratulations Lady Panthers and Coach Kristen on a terrific season!
