HOW TO BE A TWEEN

6th grade is a hard age!! 6th graders often find they are too old for the things they once did, and too young for the activities they would like to participate in. Lots of 6th graders struggle with who they are and where they belong! To help students understand and navigate through this volatile time in their lives. CCMS, FRYSC, and members from the community presented How to Be a Tween to local 6th graders.

How to be a Tween presented students with information about Bullying, Effective Communication, Body Knowledge and Respect, Trust and Awareness, Media Literacy, and Conflict Resolution. It is our hope that these workshops and activities will leave a lasting impression on students for years to come! Thanks to FRYSC, and the community members that helped make this day such a success!
