DUCK DYNASTY WEDNESDAY

Spirit week at CCMS continued with Duck Dynasty Day.  Students and teachers showed up Wednesday morning with their best Duck Dynasty gear on.  It was really hard to tell the difference between some of the CCMS Duck Dynasty wanna-be's and the real Robertson clan.  :)  Students also enjoyed a fun game of Cookie Drop and Carry Out to prep up for next weeks KPREP!!!

SPIRIT WEEK CONTINUES WITH TWIN TUEDAY

Spirit week continued on Tuesday with the theme,  twin day and a game of Banana Orange Hula Hoop, and Balancing Act.   As you can see the students and the faculty had a great time with twin Tuesday. 

 

 

BURKESVILLE ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS

Elise Keiffer, founder of the Burkesville Academy of Fine Arts, spoke to each CCMS classroom Tuesday about the upcoming BAFA Summer Camps.  It sounds like this years camp is going to be bigger and better than ever, and a great opportunity for the youth of Cumberland County.

MISMATCHED MONDAY

This week is "SPIRIT WEEK" at CCMS, to help students pep up  for the KPREP test next week.  As part of spirit week Monday was MISMATCH DAY.  The student body participated in the mismatched dress competition and the afternoon competitions, of Fill your Head and Just Say Ah.  Who knew that milk jugs and tongue depressors could be so entertaining and fun?!!  Check out scenes from MISMATCHED MONDAY and stay tuned for more images from the 2013 CCMS Spirit Week.

8th GRADE ATV SAFETY DAY

Thanks to Mrs. Wanda Gilbert, the CCMS 8th graders were given the opportunity to see first hand just how dangerous ATV's can be when not used responsibly or with the proper safety gear!!! Thanks Mrs. Wanda for bring this opportunity to our students.  

 

 

 

 

MARCH SUPERSTARS

The March Superstars, or CCMS students of the month, are 6th grader John, 7th grader Dylan, and 8th grader Elidjah.  Congratulations students, keep up the good work!!

MAY 6-10 IS CCMS SPIRIT WEEK

The annual spirit week at CCMS will be May 6-10th, with activities and contest each afternoon to pump-up students for the  KPREP test the week of May 13-17.  Each day of spirit week will have a different theme and various competitions.

 

Monday May 6th:  MISMATCHED DAY- wear everything mismatched, inside out, backwards or have it all together and be the perfect nerd!!!

 

Tuesday May 7th:  TWIN TUESDAY-Do you have a twin?  Get yourself one or two and then you would be triplets.  Four alike would be quadruplets.  Do you get the point?

 

Wednesday May 8th:  DUCK DYNASTY DAY- Show how Happy Happy Happy you are Jack, and wear your favorite Duck Commander Clothing.

 

Thursday May 9th:  ELDERLY RESPECT or RETRO DAY- What is better than a whole day devoted to dressing up to look just like your elders and your teachers.  Dress like your elders do now or they way they did way back when?

 

Friday May 10th:  PANTHER PRIDE DAY- How much green and white can you wear.  Not too much Toddy!
